Laura Eddings

Biography
Laura grew up on the north shore of Massachusetts before following family across the border to New Hampshire more than 20 years ago. A lifetime of interest in architecture and interior design led naturally to a career in Real Estate after years of working in the graphic design field. In addition, Laura has experience in marketing and a proven work ethic having been self-employed. These skills combine to give her the tools necessary to assist her clients through the challenging process of purchasing and selling properties.
In 2014, Laura and her husband, Jay, moved to Gilmanton when they found their dream home, a 150-year-old New Englander. The old house had been badly neglected but it had great potential and plenty of room for them and their dogs Hattie and Currie. Their little hobby farm has now grown to include 6 angora goats, several chickens and guinea hens, and nephew, Tyler. Old New Englanders are a special interest for Laura. She understands the unique care they require as she and her husband continue to restore their own home.
Laura enjoys gardening, dining out, crocheting, and is always interested in learning new things. She spends much of her free time volunteering for the NH Humane Society in Laconia, working on fundraisers and events, or at the NHSPCA in Stratham, cleaning barns and caring for the large animals. She also volunteers for the Walk to End Alzheimers in memory of her father and grandmother.
